North Carolina child’s ‘monster in the closet’ was in fact 50,000 bees
in the wall

Family discovers ‘terrifying’ gigantic bee colony in wall of home with
blood-like honey oozing down wall and $20,000 in damage

Damn! Sorry, I don't usually do just reaction posts, but I thought this
was worthy.

I mean, that's why I was thinking about it.

Think about a scenario like this: family finally investigates monster
the kid has been hearing. Turns out to be bees.

Which actually are not bees at all but some alien infestation that makes
blood-colored honey from blood.

It's more relevant to me since I had my second favorite character killed
by bees and torn up by the DM. I also have an indent in the quick under
my ring fingernail from when I was stung as a toddler.

I mean, I like bees, but there are some memories from my early childhood
from getting stung by one and they are still quite terrifying in some ways.
